The Delegates is a co-production of Pattern Films and DoubleSpeak.

Pattern Films is a documentary production company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Recent films include: “The Alphabet Book,” about a Pakistani tribe creating the first alphabet for their oral-only language, which was broadcast internationally, and “Garlic and Watermelons,” about a Gypsy family displaced for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, which screened in film festivals world wide, garnering several human rights awards. 

Producer Lauren Feeney also works for the PBS documentary series WIDE ANGLE. She received her masters in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University. Director Cameron Hickey has worked as an animator and cinematographer for several award-winning films, and is a founder of DocAgora, an organization that serves the documentary filmmaking community. 

 

DoubleSpeak Media is a progressive new media organization based in Washington, DC. DoubleSpeak’s audio podcasts, featuring interviews with national political leaders, volunteers and activists from across America, have been widely distributed online and have appeared among the top 100 political podcasts on iTunes.

DoubleSpeak Media has been active in Washington, DC, in New Hampshire during the 2008 primary, and throughout the country producing content and offering analysis on DoubleSpeak’s website as well as at the Huffington Post. DoubleSpeak is hosted by MSNBC contributors and twin brothers Matthew and Peter Slutsky, and produced by Joshua Skaroff.
